If you ask Rachel, she’ll say her best work is created when she’s feeling happy and inspired. Rachel thinks it is important to share those positive feelings. It is her hope that others feel those happy, calm, peaceful feelings when they view her work. There are so many ugly things happening in the world, and Rachel wants to add more beauty.
Rachel Mambach has exhibited her artwork in both group and solo shows. Rachel’s love for experimenting with color, line, shape, and texture show in her art, and she’s drawn to round shapes and intricate repetitive patterns. Rachel also uses her art to keep herself connected to her heritage and sometimes creates work influenced by Jewish symbols and culture. As an art teacher, Rachel’s goal is to instill a love of art and creativity in her students and teach them that trying is the most important part. Rachel’s father is a painter, and she was lucky to grow up in a home where art and creativity are valued. Rachel wants her students to have the opportunity to experience some of the same creativity, joy, and wonder that she experienced as a child. |
